Fall on the Farm
Fall is a great time to settle back and reflect. Foxhollow Farm welcomes fall visitors who are looking to reconnect with themselves or with mother nature. Below are a list of some of our favorite ways to unwind during fall on the farm!
Pick Your Own Pumpkin
Visit our pumpkin patch during October and pick your pumpkin! Nothing says fall quite like pumpkins on the porch and pumpkin soup on the table. Whether you’re looking for something to carve, cook, or just admire, we have plenty of varieties to choose from.
Walk the Nature Trail
If you’re looking for something a little more active, enjoy the crisp fall air and changing leaves on our 1 mile nature trail. It takes you through the woods of Foxhollow Farm and around a beautiful pond. Take time to sit and reflect on the bench looking over the water or walk the trial with your leashed pup!
Visit the Stone Circle
Our Geopuncture Circle was created in 2008 by artist Marko Pogačnik, and is one of only three circles in North America. Each of Pogačnik’s Geopunture Circles is created with a different theme that refers to the relationship between the Earth, nature, and humans. Taking time to sit and be still in the Stone Circle is one of our favorite ways to rest and reconnect.
Stop in the Fox Shop
Be sure to stop in the Fox Shop to pick up some of our 100% grassfed and finished beef and lamb, perfect for making a cozy fall meal. You can find tips and recipes for cooking our beef on our blog, or by asking one of our Farm Staff!
