This bison comes from Woodland Farm in Goshen, Kentucky, where Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson have been raising American Bison on pasture since 1996. Their bison graze on open pasture across 1,000 acres, no grain, no hormones, no antibiotics. They even process at their own USDA facility to make sure everything's handled right from start to finish.
We source from Woodland Farm because they're neighbors (just down the road in Goshen), they farm the way we do, and honestly, their bison is excellent. If we're going to carry something we don't raise ourselves, it has to be from people we trust.
