Stewardship Statement
Biodynamics at its core seeks to respect the spirit, dignity, and freedom of every living being.Â
We are committed to building greater equity and inclusion by actively engaging with communities and individuals who are historically underrepresented in the local food economy, organic food & farming, and the community living and working on our farmland.Â
We strive to provide equal opportunity for people of all races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, incomes, marital statuses, ages, geographic locations, political affiliations, and philosophies to experience our working farm and enjoy the fruits of our labor.Â
We recognize that the land which is now known as Foxhollow Farm was stewarded by Indigenous people. We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East), Shawandassee Tula (Shawnee), Adena, and Hopewell. Indigenous land-based communities inspire us. We are grateful to the Indgenous peoples whose agricultural wisdom and practices support the health of this amazing planet Earth.
We are committed to listening and learning. We strive to deepen our understanding of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.Â
