Reports To: Market and Distribution Lead

Location: Foxhollow Farm, Crestwood, KY

Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt| 10-25 hours per week, depending on availability and seasonality

Schedule and Hours: This role supports our peak hours and events, which occur in the evenings or weekends. Weekend availability is required. The schedule requires availability during the following windows:

• Monday 1 PM - 6 PM, 
• Thursday 10 AM - 5 PM
• Friday: 1 PM - 8 PM
• 1 Saturday or Sunday shift

Position Overview

Love local food, vibrant events, and great customer service? Foxhollow Farm is hiring a Market & Distribution Associate! As the face of our farm market during our peak hours and events, you will help guests connect with our 100% grassfed beef and local products. You will keep the store looking great, assist shoppers, pack subscription orders, and help receive deliveries. Essential Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Provide a welcoming, informative experience for all visitors during peak market hours, Burger Shack shifts, farm events, and partner pop-ups, and to customers who reach out through call/text.
• Market Floor & Display Management: Maintain clean, fully stocked, and visually appealing market displays. Stagger inventory staging to keep up with foot traffic.
• Event Support: Assist with event setup, guest direction, point-of-sale management, and teardown for on-farm and partner events.
• Order Support & Fulfillment: Assist with order packing, restocks, and quick-turnaround fulfillment tasks as needed during high-volume spikes.
• Cross-Coverage: Maintain flexibility to cover scheduled shifts, peak event surges, and step in as backup coverage when fellow team members are out.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous customer service experience
• Reliable: Must have reliable availability during peak hours, weekends, and during scheduled events. 
• Time Management & Adaptability: Able to manage shifts effectively by balancing between customer service, restocking, and event support. 
• Initiative: willingness to learn and jump in to different areas of the farm
• Communication: Friendly, approachable, and clear communicator with customers, teammates, and leadership. 
• Tech-Savvy: Ability to navigate POS systems and inventory systems
• Physical Requirements:  Ability to stand for extended periods of time, can lift/carry items up to 40 pounds. Comfort working in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) during outdoor events. 

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $15/hour
