This is bacon from pigs that actually got to be pigs - roaming through forests in Crawford County, Indiana, foraging and living on pasture under the care of Luke and Katherine Groce.
The Groces have been farming since 2009 with a simple mission: raise food that's good for people and good for the land. Their pigs are part of a regenerative system that mimics nature, which means healthier animals, richer soil, and bacon with real flavor.
Our uncured bacon is made from their forest-raised pork bellies, naturally cured with celery juice powder (no synthetic nitrates), then smoked and sliced a little thicker than your average grocery store bacon. It's got all the smoky, savory goodness you want, just without the traditional cure.
Why we source from Groce Family Farm: They're our neighbors, they farm the way we do (regenerative, pasture-based, chemical-free), and their pork is outstanding. Simple as that.
One pound per package. Ready for a hot skillet.
